Looking forward to being myself again, walking on my own, but with rollater for a while longer. (after regaining strength, of course) and eventually driving again, and exercise. NO BAth yet, except sponge bathes. Care givers will come until end of month and I'll be on my own. Bee having weekends to myself, so I'm getting adjusted to doing things.

Comments (11)Awww, she's so sweet. Too bad she got seperated from her companions, but at least you have her. She looks perfect with the eggs. (I like the feet, too) I've not seen one with a concrete shawl and bonnet. My friend has one on her deck she inherited from her mil (with holiday and seasonal outfits, plus she make some of her own), and she keeps her done up all the time. It's really cute and fun. There is a house on the way to the store that has a bunch of concrete Canadian geese (adults and babies) they change the positions of, maybe when they mow. Comments (4)I occasionally have this unexplained random branch wilting happen with a few plants each year (and no, I don't have any fungal or bacterial wilts in my soil.) Not much, maybe just 1-5 plants or so out of 150-200, and it is usually very minor. I mostly see this when plants are young (almost never when they are mature), and especially when there are extreme swings in temp and sunlight, which I get a lot here in the spring. My "theory" is that part of it might have to do with root development not quite perfectly keeping up and efficiently dealing with locating water to all of the quickly emerging top growth. Yep, usually minor - as others said. Just let clip the wilt off or let it just be, whichever. Btw, whatever you do, don't be tempted to give any plants that do this water when they don't need it in an attempt to baby them. Might do more harm than good. The major problem with GD comes later. ;) I know you don't like most greens, and I don't either, but I found GD tastes pretty good when almost dry farmed and/or planted in a 'neglected' area that doesn't get the usual regular watering with your soaker hoses (little/no supplemental water unless the plant actually starts to wilt) and also best grown in really good sun and heat. IOW, not a good choice for me here for fall crop, tends to lean more towards insipid/funky, I found. Comments (40)For sinus sufferers, there was a bit on NPR about lactobacillus sakei and sinus infections...seems to be a strong connection to the good bacteria fighting off the sinus infections. Only thing is, it hasn't been studied yet in humans, but thought I'd mention that there has been some early signs of success with it. Also GF suffers with allergies and she has found that taking OTC antihistamine before or as her allergies begin really helps to control the situation as it keeps it from getting worse and setting up vicious cycles of misery. Though I have no first hand experience, I hope this helps.... what causes sinus infections Acutally this whole human biome business is just beginning to get hot and scientists are just beginning to understand that we shouldn't think of the body as a pristene place with viral and bacterial invaders that need to be wiped out....rather we need to think of the body as a garden where we want to grow the good bacteria so it can keep the bad stuff in check....fascinating stuff.
