Exterior colors for 1940s cedar-shake bungalow

I'd love suggestions for colors for the exterior of my late 1940s cedar-shake bungalow. It's currently stained a chocolate brown and the trim and garage door are white. (A front section has white vinyl siding.) I have a new front walkway, and front and back patio, in warm tones of sandstone. (It has some blue-grey in it, too.) The roof is a reddish brown, and while I don't like it, I won't be replacing it until I need to, It's a small house and I think I need to keep the color light, but it should stand out some from the sandstone hardscape. I'm thinking about picking up the blue-grey in the sandstone -- but not too dark. I'm not a fan of tan/khaki. (I am having the shakes stained, not painted.)
