what color to paint walls?

Alexandrita quartzite-couldn’t afford to do the whole backslash :(
Maple cabinets
I would like to keep it light. Any ideas for paint colors on the walls?? Thank you!!

Pick a color out of your stone. The color of your light switches appears to work well, in the picture. Maybe use same for the wall color. Then use one of your favorite brighter colors for some accessories.

It's a classic granite, used for fireplaces and buildings long before the granite kitchen counter era. I've seen it in a kitchen with pale rose or peachy walls and grey cabinets. It was lovely. It's also a good blend with terracotta tile floors. If you want to emphasize the rose flecks, use a color that matches them on the walls. If you want to minimize them, use a neutral grey.

A dark color floor stays cleaner in a kids bath...I would do all white with greige tiles as that is what is being sold everywhere, paint the walls and trim white, and then select new towels in fun colors every year.

I don't know what lights go with adobe style so I googled some..interesting.. http://www.thesouthweststore.com/CCPEG330-335_series.html I'm sure there are many more. you also don't have to go with strictly that style. but i kinda like it..well i like everything that has animals or plants on it, so i'm far from being objective

a very very light gray. the cabinets have the warmth of wood but I dont see warm shades at all in counter...maybe in real life they hold warm streaks???? so the lightest of gray will be a neutral play w cabs and work especially w counter. the counter will probably stick around...cabinets sometimes get changed w paint/stain or gel etc.... so work w counter mostly.
