Fun! I think I have everything in the first set...which made me all excited until I saw there was an even bigger second set! Today is baking day for me, so I have to run but will try to come back later to tackle those. Thanks, Jasdip - Merry Christmas!

"RICHARD was your comment intentional? You solved #6 with your statement!" Yes it was. I guess I'm not very good with hints. (subliminal hint?) I still got number four wrong though. I thought it was "One step forward, three steps back" ( I was wondering why it wasn't "one step forward, two steps back" Really really bad luck?)

(Yeah I was stopped. For like an hour. Thanks for the entertainment!) Now I can’t believe I didn’t get 2! I started with “upside the face” hence my “smack” hint, but the expression is head not face. So I switched to “about face” as the arrows were pointing to areas about the face. And my rambling about thinking of a song but it wasn’t really the song, went along with the Elvis reference, was linking Blue Christmas to being blue without you.

I also had 'pretty please', that's how I've always heard it and said it. And I've only ever heard and said 'one and the same' rather than 'one in the same'. I agree with 'good to the last drop', too. Never did get 2 - duh!!! I only got 4 because last week we had ’summary’ (Mary + Mary =) , so I solved this the same way. I had catscan for 5 but knew it wouldnt be right. And for 8, I googled them all so knew they were colors, but was literally just typing ”but what does the ring have to do with anything” when it dawned on me - haha - cute. Got the rest. Merry Christmas Jasdip and everyone here. I have got a good start on both puzzles but now it's time to face the hectic last minute grocery shopping. Argghh!

Ok guys, help me out. Do you want me to post the answers tomorrow morning so you can share the puzzles with our family Christmas Eve/Day? OR would you like them tonite?......just don't look at the answers if you're still doing the puzzle.

It doesn't matter to me. I've finished the first one but not the second one. I won't be sharing the puzzles with family anyway.

Thanks, Jasdip! I haven’t looked at them yet. I’m going to print and share them Christmas Eve and Day. Maybe answers anytime, Friday even, and I won’t look till we here give up.

IN the first puzzle I had Christmas Eve for D2 because it was dark. I haven/t finished the second puzzle so didn't check the answers yet.
