Something I Bought 2 Years Ago

I bought this thinking it was a good idea. Never used it... until tonight. It is GREAT! The photos are the cooked beans I wanted in packets for future meals. This stand (which folds up) held the bag while I put the beans in thru' a canning funnel. No mess and a clean zip-top.

I definitely will be using this for leftovers as well as foods I make for future reference.

I've had one for years. Agreed on the greatness. You can also fold a longer bag over the top and still clip in if needed. Congrats!

My 'mental closet' is so cluttered, the door won't stay closed! I truly wish I could sweep some of those messes into a big trash truck and watch it roll away! Lilo, you always seem so organized and thoughtful, if you admit to clutter in your mental closet, maybe there's hope for me, yet.

@k8cd I’ve actually been told by two locals now that the rental market is even more insane here than the home sales. One person suggested renting out our house because apparently SFH’s in this area are hard to come by. The only way I could make that argument with my husband would be to show that it would be extremely lucrative, though, because neither of us are interested in being landlords. @elcieg Why, yes, and I’m starting with my HOA’s parks and rec committee chair position! Ha! (I really have thought about joining the board, but it would be completely self-serving, so that doesn’t seem like a wise idea.) And thank you for bringing up misophonia. Although I was aware of it, I hadn’t really taken it seriously before now. I did more reading about it today, and I definitely plan to bring it up with my physician this week.

I use these all the time! A little tricky with the food saver bags that don't have the lip, but you get the hang of things!

Yes, I have one too. I had it stuck in the back of a cabinet for a long time, then I finally got smart enough to store it where it's easily accessible. Works like a charm and I use it a lot, I got mine from one of the Grandkids when they were selling various things as school fund raisers.
