is your quartz stained ? steam/boiling water solved it for me.

Just had caesarstone countertop (white/grey colored alpine mist - polished) installed in our kitchen.

To our big surprise we spotted a few very stubborn circular shaped stains.

We were unable to remove them using the usual suspects as soap, alcohol and scrubbing with a non abrasive cloth.

The spots themselves seemed to repel water. I figured this out when moving a very wet cloth on the table around the culprit area.

I could easily see here that the circular shaped stains did not accept the water. Like grease on a frying pan.

Everyone knows that steaming hot water dissolves grease.

According to caesarstone the quartz should be able to withstand temps. at up to 150 celsius.

So I tried pouring boiling water on the countertop and cleaning it with a normal brush. Then wipe off.

Repeat.

To my surprise the stains are gone.

I guess if you have a steaming cleaner this would suffice as well.

It's worth a shot before trying all kinds of chemical cleaning agents.
