I just came in from digging through a huge dump of snow. I went out to feed the ponies and dropped the flipping doodad that keeps the gate locked into fresh deep snow. It was still dark out and couldn’t find it and the horses are little weenies and scared of a flashlight.

Whew, anyhow. The sun is now up, ponies are fed, snow is cleared and I’m just waiting for a delivery of 150 hay bales.

LOL B3 reminded me of an old disco type dance song (I know that‘s not it) and I have that playing in my brain right now.

First time going thru them and got all except C2 and then saw the bonus. I can come up with something for the bonus but not happy with my answer so will drink some more coffee and try to figure it out.

I have everything except C2. I think I have the bonus, but not 100% positive.

Got most of them the first time through. The few remaining need more thought and another cup of coffee. (Any excuse for more coffee!)

The first thing that popped into my mind for the bonus is probably way too simple for it to be the answer, so going to give it more thought, too.

Just got C2 – yay!!

Okay, just had a really good look at them. I have a few so far. Bonus came right away.

Stuck on C2 but still working on it. I’ve got two guesses for A3 but I like one slightly better than the other. I’m happy with the rest.

C2 I think I have a basis but need to hone in further. Not happy with my guesses for C3 and have nothing for D3 yet.

Pretty sure I have all but C3 and D3. I have an answer for C3, but it's awkward, not anything I've ever heard actually used in conversation.

And I'm hung on my first reaction to the bonus, can't seem to get past it. But don't think it is right.

I kind of have ideas for C2 and C3, and all kinds of thoughts for D3 none of which I like.

Bonus? nope! got nothin’.

The more I think about my answer to the bonus, the more I'm thinking it must be right. But, I also realize that it may not be something that some people will know. HINT: the word, as I'm using it, is a noun and not a verb.

I also think that there is a definitive answer to C2 and D3, but I'm guessing that C3 may have other possibilities than the one I came up with. In fact, I'm not sure I love my answer, but it is kind of clever if it's right.

Okay, HINTS accepted now! C3, I am not confident.

C2? I am stuck on one thing but it doesn’t account for the Rs.

D3, I have no idea. Taking it literally, I could have it made up into a pillow for my snoring DH.

(By the way, I just corrected my last post - I meant that C3 may have other answers, just realized I mistakenly said D3). Anyway….

I finally got C2 once I stopped trying to make 2 words out of it, like these puzzles will often have one word in another word….if that helps?

Letters, I’m with you on C2! What the heck do the r’s have to do with it? I also had rearranged.

Hidden Agenda was my ”answer” but I didn’t think it was right, couldn’t account for the RRs.

ForC3, I had Eyes on the Road. Lines under the eyes? Hmm…

University, that was one of my answers but I didn’t like it. By the end I was thinking it’s the end of the word, so maybe ”post-university”.

Band saw, I wasn’t expecting that kind of word play! good one!

^ Funny, bpath, eyes on the road was my initial thought too, but I ultimately went with lines under the eyes because I thought it might’ve been more obvious if it was intended to be a road.

A3, at first I had ”getting too big for his pants” which I didn’t like at all. Eventually, ”ants in his pants” came to me which of course was the obvious answer.

My husband uses a bandsaw quite a bit so that was a quick get.

I had 'cross cut saw' for the bonus. Band saw never crossed my mind, I guess because I quite recently gave mine to my grandson.

And I did have 'hidden agenda' for C2. The R's were a pretty clever way to hide the agenda. Also had 'lines under the eyes', for C3, but surprised to find out it's right. Still sounds wonky to me. Never did come up with anything for D3.

FOAS, uni is a prefix meaning ”one”…. since there is one versity there = university. Kind of a stretch, I suppose, but they do call these wacky wordies!! 😄

I got them all but huge question marks for C2 and D3. For C2 I did have rearranged until letters made the comment about words within words and then I found hidden agenda. For D3 it was all I could think of/

I did get the bonus wrong as I too had crosscut saw. Actually I had circular crosscut saw but was told there was no such thing. :)

I did not have hidden agenda and I did not have university. I still don't "get" those two.

For the bonus, I had "not seen" and that reminds me of the European road signs that I did not understand. We must have gone down quite a few streets in Italy that we were not supposed to, but we still made it out, although sometimes with a tight squeeze. Once we had to fold the side mirrors in to make it through a narrow street that we should not have driven on.

No idea what double play means so I didn’t get that one. Also, although I guessed lines under the eyes, it isn’t an expression used here. We have bags under our eyes! For the cheeks I got ’turn the other cheek’ because one word is written backwards.

Never ever heard or read 'lines under the eyes'. I have zero idea what that even looks like😐
