Comments (3)Leave it alone, unless you are experienced with this surgery or you will kill it. It has a better chance if you leave it alone. It needs the same soil that it grows in nature, little water except when in season, and that may be the winter months only when it rains in the deserts, high desert at 3,500 ft. They do get snow in Dec. January, and snow melt. They are hard to transplant, again you must know the secrets which I don't. This is just my own input, others that are more expericed and who have done it before should advise you. Thanks for asking, I am hoping for a response that will make sense.
