Table for home art studio

Hi :)

i am designing my very own home art studio. Its very exciting but also very confusing! It will be the lower level of my high ranch and share space with a reading area. So, I need to keep the space constraints in mind. The room is roughly 24' in length and 15' in width with built in bookshelves on one end and a row of windows on one side. I will put an area rug and some chairs and beanbags in front of the bookshelves and use the opposite end of the room for the art studio space.

After much research I settled on the brookside design vertical file storage system for storing the paper and canvases. I bought a good easel but I am having the hardest time finding a table!

Here is what i need/would like:

- NOT a drafting table but rather a flat one

- with enough space to spread out with large paper and supplies but...

- not too large because of the space constraints

- leaning towards minimalistic style as I don't want to overwhelm the space (but not ugly or boring)

- something that is meant to be worked on, paint spills, cutting etc...

- something nice!

Any suggestions?

TIA
