No direct experience with Bodorp. I’d strongly suggest biting the bullet and buying a drawer or door for your own testing in your own lighting. While several people have mentioned they can’t handle the smudges and fingerprints on Axstad blue, my partner and I are fine with how they look dirty and our ability to clean them. I suspect a lot of it has to do with where light is entering the kitchen (because it is the glare off the oil that matters most), sight lines, and how “perfect” of a house you keep. I went into the testing very suspect that the cabinets would work for us, but there we are.

My bathroom cabinets are in Swiss Coffee. would Eternal Statuario be suitable with swiss coffee ? I dont want to bring out any yellow. I am having a difficult time finding a white quarts to compliment. Any other suggestions?

Just seemed to be a better white for us - as for the quartz I love the suede finish of the eternal Statuario but the fingerprints would drive me crazy. I had a sample in my kitchen and sure enough from every angle it was nothing but finger prints! I think the polished will be better for me to maintain - though I absolutely love the honed/suede look - looks more like marble for sure. I’m also worried about curry and turmeric staining - I’ve read that’s an issue and I like to cook a lot. Let me know what you end up with, will be fun for you to see all the whites! We had our kitchen designer bring them to our house so it’s all about the lighting too. You’ll like the cabinets!! :-)

I have both 1% and 5% white solar shades in my house. 1% in bedrooms for privacy and light control. 5% in living room to preserve some of the view and to reduce heat gain. It's a neat concept to be able to see the view through the 5% shade, but as soon as the sun is no longer an issue, which is much of the time (overcast days, trees leafed out and anytime after mid-day), I roll the shades up, because that's the view I really want to see. The sun shines through the 5% shade so much so that it hurts my eyes, so I have to position myself somewhere in the room where it is not an issue. I'm not sure how different black would be, but I've noticed that a lot of restaurants have black. I considered black, but I sort of prefer light and bright. I'm not sorry I ordered white, the view may be blurry, but the mind fills in the blanks, if that makes sense. I ordered mine from blind.com.
