Getting ready for a ride

I don't get the days of the week part - but, it's Friday, so, I can post a train picture, right? More specifically, taken from a train. This is the view of the upper bay from Amtrak and MARC commuter trains crossing from Harford to Cecil County in Maryland. The highest hills of the Elk Neck Peninsula in the distance are only 264' high...but I'm pretty sure that's the highest elevation you can see on deep* coastal waters of the eastern US, between the NYC area and the volcanic islands of the Caribbean. Correct me if I'm wrong!

The town to the right is Havre de Grace. Rather than accept the local butchering of french, I just call it by its nick name from the olden days of bookies and gangsters: The Graw.

* Panamax class vessels can cross the Delmarva Peninsula on the other side that land mass
