Littleprince2 - I think you're right. I keep thinking maybe just 3 or 4 chairs, but I like the idea of something bigger to lounge on when I'm by myself. Nosoccermom - way higher meaning higher ceiling? I think my ceilings are 8' 8". Always1stepbehind - isn't it awesome? Actually a hinged patio door rather than a slider - the screen slides, but the door swings all the way.

I am not a fan of sofa/loveseat combo...for a number of reasons, but mostly because I don't want to sit that close to anyone and try to have a conversation. I find it awkward. Two chairs would be my choice. This chairs gets very good reviews and you can't beat the price. Comes in tan leather and black. I find recliners great for sitting up while watching television. While a recliner works for a short nap, they're not good for long term sleep. That said, I have a Gentleshower Massage Recliner leather recliner with down cushions that's the most comfortable seating ever. Homall makes premium leather recliners that are just about as good.

This is all FB marketplace stuff! Even the sand dollar print and dining room table. It’s cherry wood, it wasn’t cheap, but definitely less than what I would have paid new. The trunk was my great grandfather’s. I can definitely move the starburst to the dining area. That makes a lot of sense. I also like the idea of framed family photos. It would be nice to display some of that. Someone mentioned the sheers. I think I need those for privacy. Although without the room being one big wide open space, maybe I don’t need that as much? Years ago we didn’t have sheers and when my neighbor across the street moved away, he mentioned that he could see right into my living room.
