Google images for kitchens with the type of cabinets you have. Scroll through them until you find ones you like, save those images, and return to them later. Then edit out ones you don't like as much.

I saw your other post about the cabinets. Until you decide about that, don’t spend any mind share on counters. The cabinets will narrow your counter options.

Whenever I’ve had a big project (especially kitchens) I am 100% guilty of my mind racing ahead of where I actually am in the selection process. I’ve learned to calm myself down and make selections one at a time. It’s hard but it helps a lot and reduces a lot of stress 😊.

So apparently Im supposed to do cabs first but frankly kniw cabs isnt going to make me love movenent, random spots and flecks, marble veins, dark colirs.

My countertop options are already pretty narrow

Agree with @mxk3 z5b_MI, solid surface Corian may be your best solution.

^^^^^^What @mxk3 z5b_MI said. Exactly. Quartz, which has a high plastic resin content, but pretends to be stone, and does a poor job of it. Corian has no pretence. It’s a plastic counter product, and is marketed as such. It has a nicer tactile ”feel”, and is easily repairable by a pro…which engineered stone (quartz), isn’t.

Don’t be pushed into taking something you don’t want. It’s your kitchen, and your hard earned $$$.
