An 8 year old girl went to her grandfather, who was working in the yard and asked him “Grandpa what is couple sex?” The grandfather was surprised that she would ask such a question, but decided that if she was old enough to know to ask the question, then she was old enough to get a straight answer. He proceeded to tell her all about human reproduction and the joys and responsibilities that go with it. When he finished explaining, the little girl was looking at him with her mouth hanging open, eyes wide in amazement. Seeing the look on her face, the grandfather asked, “why did you ask, Sweetie? The little girl replied, “Well, grandma says to tell you that dinner will be ready in just a couple secs.”

Jasdip, no, I don't. That was a bit of an issue with my first job out of college, while I waited for my real job (in a hospital) to start: piercing ears in the jewelry department of a local department store. I had to wear the full "nurse" kit - white uniform etc and my cap (which I never wore again). It was an issue because several wavering customers asked to see my earlobes. What could I say? I told them I "hadn't gotten around to it yet." Eight for me.

When I was a new father, one night our infant was crying in the bassinet next to our bed. I groggily got up and picked up the crying baby and got in the rocking chair. For some reason, our baby was still crying and those cries didn't sound close enough to make sense. That's when my wife noticed and said, "Hey, you know you're rocking the dog...?" I looked down and sure enough, our Boston terrier, who liked to curl up in the baby's bassinet, was looking up at me as if to say, "This is weird but I'll allow it..."
