That was a bit of an issue with my first job out of college, while I waited for my real job (in a hospital) to start: piercing ears in the jewelry department of a local department store. I had to wear the full "nurse" kit - white uniform etc and my cap (which I never wore again). It was an issue because several wavering customers asked to see my earlobes. What could I say? I told them I "hadn't gotten around to it yet." Eight for me.

RUBBERNECK - what you do to relax your wife. 13. SELFISH - what the owner of a seafood store does. 14. SUDAFED - brought litigation against a government official.
