Please help with knowledge about staining white oak

Using unfinished white oak on newel posts and rails for an update…I really want to finish the parts in a way that keeps it as close to its natural almost “dusty” oak look vs anything yellow/orange/pink. Anyone have knowledge about how to achieve this?
Here is a photo of my lvp flooring choices Iam deciding between (lvp will be going on the stairs) and the natural white oak and I am wanting to stain/seal/finish to match/compliment. Any help is appreciated.

Take a sample of the wood to a paint store like Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore. They will have ideas and product to achieve what you want.

Clear took the wood about 2 shades darker and too dark for what I want so we discussed part A&B wood bleach which I did a test patch last night, only let sit 5 minutes. Will do a couple more patches to bleach lighter and then return to Miller Paint to see if the depth added with clear over the bleached patches is a win.

glennsfc, we are on a timeline to get the kitchen done.... so I didn't push for popping of the rays with danish oil, or even water popping. Gotta draw the line somewhere! This flooring guy seems to know his stuff. Thanks peytonroad! Your pics are wonderful ---and your floors -WOW! We did a sample of the jacobbean and it was beautiful, but a little too brown for the cherry w/ dark stain cabs. So after looking at what others have used, we did a sample with 50-50 ebony and red mahogany, and finally went with a mix of 75% red mahogany, 25% ebony. It was just enough black to take the pink undertone out of the red mahogany. So the floors were stained today, and I love the 'custom' shade. It's perfect with the dark cherry cabs!

I now have in front of me two samples of stain over white oak. One dark, one medium shade. Coincidentally, Linen white is my wall color too. I agree that the dark stain may show imperfections. Kitchen cabs are off-white for me. I'm leaning towards the medium shade more that the darker shade. Contrast will be fine even with the medium stain against the white or off-white cabs. Sounds like you and I are thinking alike- dark sounds luxurious but a pain to deal with daily. If you need, I'll try to get a photo of the two samples my flooring guy has delivered. Chestnut would be what I'd call the lighter shade.

Bleaching will lighten the wood. If, it is yellow. It will make it less or eliminate it. Having white oak means that you can skip the bleaching process. Nordicseal is a good product for white washing. Since, it is also a sealer, it will block any tannins from bleeding through prevent the yellow. Also, if, you use a water base poly, the water base poly will prevent the yellowing. If, you use an oil base, then expect yellowing to occur. You can also use a stain mixture for white washing. But, you will need to apply a sealer to prevent tannins from bleeding through.

Do the samples have a coat of finish over top or are they 'raw' stain? Always always always have a coat of finish applied over the colour samples. If you do NOT do it, then you are 'picking blind'. Finishes (even water based which are clear) alter the colour just enough to 'surprise' homeowners - and not in a good way! See the orange on your floor right now? That's an OIL BASED finish. There is no stain on the current flooring. The orange comes from these oil finishes. We call it ambering. This is WHY you need to know the colour of the stain UNDERNEATH a finish. If you have chosen an oil based finish you will need to see your stains with a coat of 'orange' over it (aka a coat of finish). What have you chosen for your finish? Product name?
