Nice to see someone keeping their stained trim. I had natural wood trim in most of my last home. How dark do you want your floors? I often see floors a shade lighter than the trim. I think in your case that would be more flexible. But, that sample does have your wood tone in it as the lighter shade.

SPC is a form of vinyl. It is not a brand name. Please list the LINKS you have for the products you are looking at. And when it comes to vinyl, thickness is THE KEY! CoreTec (original) can receive 3mm cork underlayment for cushion and acoustics. CoreTec Plus (etc) come with a built-in cork underlayment that do the same thing. Cheap SPC will be thin(ner) than CoreTec and will not have the cork underlayment.

I really love the way it looks! I am waiting on Aurora oak for the 1st floor of my lake house where the bedrooms are. Mine was backordered for a few weeks and is not going in until the end of Feb. I didn't notice the mismatch of texture and print and i don't see it in your photos. i had to go with the slightly thinner product rather than the wildly popular Calypso or Cairo oak as it it being installed over burgundy tile. Can't wait for my floors and your is the !st I'm seeing of the Aurora Oak that is not a company pic. To me it is the perfect light color, not too warm, not too washed out and not too grey. I hope the mismatch is not noticeable!

What did you choose? I am also trying to match red oak trim in my familyroom to my kitchen floors. I didn't want to introduce another color or tone of wood. I'm leaning on Manila Oak, waddington and maybe Cairo but I don't think Cairo has enough golden or reddish hues.
