Comments (3)My son worked for a house flipper and they used Floor and Decor. ( Thickest floor cheapest price.) He said he'd buy flooring for his house there. I have Super Core in my front rooms. I have Lifeproof from Home Depot in my most heavily used room. From the outdoors, to bedrooms, kitchen, etc. Big men and dogs and rocks in shoe treads. Furniture pulled across it. No scratches and when clean looks brand new. Is it pretty? No. For wood look it is just there.. After a Houston flood a few years back, I needed a floor today. I went to Home Depot. Just make a decision and be ok with it. If you are going to change it down the road just find what you like. I feel compelled to add my yorkie has recently diagnosed degenerative spine and arthritis. She is starting to slide on the Lifeproof from Home Depot.. If you have aging pets or aging parents you might not go for a totally flat floor. I didn't think my flooring was slick, but my little dog shows me it is....See MoreCoretec Grande LVP flooring.
Comments (29)Many people are choosing COREtec Grande LVP over hardwood due to its scratch resistance, waterproof aspect, sound dampening, and being virtually non distinguishable from hardwood. This has already been mentioned, but not all LVP is the same thickness. Most glue-down LVP is 3MM, many SPC LVPs are 5MM, some thicker WPC LVPs are 8MM, and COREtec Grande is 15MM....See MoreHelp choosing CoreTec LVP color. Ezra Oak, Grande Lotte, Tolima Pine
Comments (5)I understand you're concerned about how this is going to look over a large area and you have a good point. A lot of LVP ends up looking stripey. Have you chosen your kitchen cabinets yet? If you're keeping your furniture in the livingroom, how do the samples look with it? Are you replacing carpet? If you already have wood in the livingroom the recommendation is to continue the wood into the kitchen. A manmade product is never going to look as good as the real thing....See Morefolsom7
