I hope this works awm. As I noted, we're in the midst of some major landscape reno. The county is finally putting in sidewalks so our street is a construction zone! We took advantage of that to redo drainage and put in new hardscaping and landscaping. Today, in fact, we're hoping to make some serious headway into getting the footings for the wrought iron and stone fence put in and the lamp post relocated. We're also going to put in an outdoor electrical receptacle so I can finally have a dedicated line for my fountain and christmas lights instead of running an extension cord from the garage! We will be repainting so the house color will change. We're not committed to the brick facade either, but that won't be for at least a year before that changes out.

fun colors, The heather blend is the last one on the right next to the cream/yellow (more cream) siding. Holding it up to the house and the siding the brown did not seem to be right. Out of frustration, I picked up a timberline dark brown at home depot and that brown did not seem to work either. Read on the net, don't have the link, that roof color will appear 1 shade lighter and/or appear 1 shade lighter shortly after installation. So . . . if the moire black would fade a little, would be a plus to me. It's either the A/C bills or the algae. Figured I might have to change to green or other shade of red for door with roof change. Pretty sure neighbors will not be anticipating that so more explaining may be in order. There is some work involved, not all fairyland magic. Anyway, the main reason for the red door was when you have the exposed door with no overhang the black door gets hot as HE_L and bakes like it's in an oven. It was originally black which looked good for color, but the color was melting. The roof extension will probably allow for more color selection. The red is popular here. Everyone comments on how they love the red door and many in the neighborhood immediately painted their door red too. Must admit it stands out a little too much with no landscaping. After the roof, the next outdoor project will be bringing in additional soil and replacing the walkway. It has cracks, sadly, concrete does that. We love the color brown, but in sample form those browns did not look promising. Keep in mind, trim and gutters will stay white, so let me know if some roof color selections will look bad given that consideration.

A charcoal roof is definitely a great idea. It will look fantastic with the brick. For the gutters, fascia, and trim, you've got a few options—depending on what appeals to you most. White/off white would be the most traditional for gutters, trim and fascia. Using a gray, everywhere, like the gray on the windows of your front porch, will give everything a more updated and sleek look. Or, you could do your gutters and fascia one color, and do all your window trim in black or another color. I would recommend repainting your fascia to match whatever color gutters you choose (and I'd use the same color for the downspout). And I'd also recommend painting all your window trim the same color. I personally really like the gray trim with the black you've got going on with the front porch windows. I'd carry that look to all the other windows on the house. Here's a little sampling of each of those looks, plus a color combination or two you may not have considered. Your home is Contemporary, but not Colonial by any definition. All of your evergreens have hit their 'sell by' date. They are overgrown covering your windows and cannot be trimmed into any viable shapes. Look at Superdeck.com for Their Duck Back stains for your home. Here is the color chart I would recommend you select a weathered driftwood stain for your home and possibly consider a corrugated metal roof for your home. To complement the new stain I would recommend the driveway be overlayed with a Chip or Macadam stone driveway. The contractor sprays some tar on the existing asphalt driveway spreads stone like a pea gravel and then rolls over the stone to press the new layer into the tar. I think it could be a handsome finish to your home.
