Complete design flaw! Arched Support beam + Kitchen wall

We purchased a beach cottage a couple of months ago. I’ve worked around a lot of the unique design features (18ft ceilings, rounded walls, full mirrored wall in bedroom and floor to ceiling windows in odd places).

While I have many projects still going, this one has me stumped! I was hoping the solution would magically come to me! It is a main support for the home that they decided to “build” under. The floating-type wall houses the refrigerator and roughly 24” countertop with upper and lower cabinets. One day (future) I would love to reconfigure to create an open kitchen and maybe have an open stovetop housed underneath the weird arch. Until then, any suggestions to make this eyesore less obvious?

First photo shows support and floating wall on LEFT. Additional photos show what us behind the beam and the limited changes I am able to make until we can gut the space and redo.

TIA!
