No, not over the brick. Your windows and doors etc would need adjusting, along with other things. You could, of course, remove all the brick and do the wood siding like you have on rest of house. I would just do a paint wash. Anything else could be very costly. As long as you get the brick to blend in (try to use the same color gray as you have on rest of house in a paint meant for brick ), it will all look great. A nice color on the front door, to make it show up as your entry way would look nice too. I also agree, the garage doors and the garage entry door, should be the same color as the body of the house. For your main front door entrance, I see a bright darker teal. Something that will show up as your main entry.

I think they're the mid century Mission Revival or Monterey style of spanish homes. tons of them in the so cal area. I'd stay w/something light since that is the traditional look. Landscaping and hardscape will make or break this look. (I'd start with some heavy tree pruning in your front area) I've also seen renovations where they eliminate those arches. up to you how far you want to go here are some paint combos and if you're thinking about enclosing that porch area,,,,here ya go! This would look amazing.

likewhatyoudo - Thank you so much for those gorgeous recommendations. I do feel like I need something a bit more dramatic as everyone in our neighborhood is pretty much light gray. Just curious what is the equal of BM Embers to Sherwin Williams? And regarding your suggestions of beefing up columns, we actually replaced our columns last week which I've attached today's picture here so you can see it a bit more. I would LOVE to replace our door in addition but I don't have the $$ to do that t this time. Not sure if you saw another post I actually added this morning (titled: Help! Need to decide exterior paint asap! Looking for mok ups to help) explaining I just lost my job due to COVID so I'm scraping by gettting the little work done that is currently taking place (replacing awful wood rot and the load bearing columns) , and now getting to paint. So no wiggle room for anything extra though we are trying to get our front lawn to look good this summer (fingers crossed). I really do appreciate all suggestions though.....time is ticking and my fiance is going to ring my neck!

Any recommendations for colors? I was thinking Dark Grey? Need to make sure it goes with the siding and door Color. Thanks!
