The Best Garage Sale I've EVER Been To
Comments (21)Kirk: I'm just getting to write to you about that "best Garage Sale ever !" The best part was you took your daughter.. the together. fantastic.. the icing on that cake really.. was that you and daughter had fun.. and helped the person who was having the sale.. Truly it is fun to buy treasures... But you all know Giving it away ( although I might not do enough of that - I try) but really the JOY OF GIVING IS G R E A T and I can just picture that lady getting so much pleasure seeing YA'LL having so much F U N and also the fact that she knew that her T R E A S U R E S now had found a new home with the perfect family to love them and treasure them and then pass them on along.!! Keep up the teaching and keep up the quality family time P>S> Your little daughter is A DOLL (not a scarecrow - but she is the cutest one I've ever seen.. doesn't scare me !) tee hee ! God Bless You and God Bless Your Family! And Thank God America has Good Quality.. I mean to say F A N T A S T I C.... Teachers like you !! I'm a better person since I am getting to know you ! Comments (13)I'm the tree specialist & buyer (and certified arborist) for a retail nursery in Menlo Park, California. If you are still looking for this cherry, I have some suggestions that will allow you to be hands on before you purchase. Monrovia is a national wholesale grower / supplier for the Paperbark Cherry (Prunus serrula var. tibetica). If you have a local garden center that orders from Monrovia, they should be able to order one for you. Monrovia does require minimum quatities of each plant be ordered, so you may need to locate a larger retail garden center (usually an independent) that's willing to do this. Another wholesale grower is Loen Nursery, out of Oregon. I'm not sure if they ship to Charlotte....See MoreCan anyone help me find the source of these rugs?
Comments (10)It's a Parade of Homes house, Spring 2013. Maybe you can find information here, and/or ask. Great Neighborhood Homes is the builder. I linked their Houzz account. Owned by Scott and Margaret Busyn - "Margaret worked as an apparel and footwear buyer for a national retailer. Her corporate background, delivering great design while controlling costs, was great experience for her role at Great Neighborhood Homes." She does the interior design. Scott was "was with Target Corporation for 20 years. He was responsible for international product development and sourcing, launching key designer brands like Fieldcrest, Shabby Chic and Thomas O'Brien in over 2500 stores. Scott brings his passion for Target's 'expect more, pay less' philosophy to the custom home business." Comments (110)Slow....I'm really starting to lean towards selling. The gallery that wants my stuff, takes 40%...so that has put me off for a while. But I'm really starting to think about other options. My daughter thinks I need to try to make her a better deal. She has said my stuff was front window quality......so my daughter is urging me to make a better deal with her. I may just try and see..... I have a hard time giving anyone 40%. The Base and supplies are much more than any of their other stuff .. Most are Canvas's and paint...Pottery.. small sculptures ...My bases are spendy .. I think about a tea set...I pay $45.00 for the set... then $30 for the glass....my time..glue ..grout, and it looks like I'm trying to screw someone! then add 40% to that! I now notice how over priced stuff is there..and the reason is the 40% commission! So ebay might work for me. Just looking into it. So impressed you thought it was worthy of selling! that lights a fire under my butt!!!hahaha Hazie...See Moreroarah
