I find that strong responses and debate are signs of a design that has a strong point of view. When there isn't so much of a reaction, the project is often milquetoast!

The home owner does like to entertain and family is pivotal in her life and home atmosphere. You can see from the welcome and open plan that she has taken this into account and to those who wonder about having a TV, that is reserved to the rumpus room area in the lower level of her home so not to distract from the meals and conversation that happen in the main level. I know that spending time away from electronic clutter is important to her and I myself have the dining area of my home as it's heart, this comes from our deep family values and culture.
