Thank you for all the compliments! I needed some honest feedback and really appreciate it. Not having samples to test was scary. I’m glad that the blue is liked so well, maybe I just need to get used to it. Atleast I already have a color picked if and when I need to mix it up a bit. My daughter and son in law have no idea and are stopping by tomorrow for a visit. I can’t wait to see their faces when they turn on to the driveway. LOL!

Lizabeth, here’s a different pic I took that appears to be more of the same angle. We had a new garage door installed about 18 months ago and windows 2 years ago, so it really is all new!

Sue, the color is SW Svelte Sage. I’m surrounded on 3 sides by brown houses. I wanted to be different but cohesive and this muted green is a good fit.

I went and looked at the paint color after you mentioned the name. It doesn't look like it should read yellow green. I was thinking that if I painted a house green, it would probably have to be a sage green -- and you did. The shutters are reading a darker green more than the blue on my screen. I usually feel like I get pretty good color representations, but not so sure I have here. I wasn't meaning to sound negative. The house looks fresh and clean regardless, but I bet the paint colors are even prettier in person. Would not be surprised if you start something with the neighbors.

Lascatx, that’s the problem I had! The colors really aren’t represented well on the screen! I’m finding that this Sage is like SW Sea Salt in that depending on the lighting, it can appear as a different color. Tan w/green undertones when it’s in the shade and a more vibrant olivey green when it’s in the sun. In person, the blue (SW Moody Blue) on the door and shutters is really close to the screen if not spot on. My DD & SIL were here and noticed the shutters right away but didn’t notice the house! That was suprising! They like the blue too as well as the sage. So it’s all good! Money well spent! :c)

I like the blue with the green, but then I had the front wooden part of my house painted teal, which is somewhat close to your door color.

Are your lawn and trees green in the winter? If not, your house will be a cheerful reminder of the green.

Most of the houses in my neighborhood are fairly colorful, except for the ones that have been recently flipped, and the flippers like to use black and white, which is pretty boring.

Lars, During winter, the grass is usually covered in snow and with exception of the Blue Spruces (my year round Christmas Trees) the trees are bare, so you are right, it is going to be a great reminder and pretty I think. I’ve also planted Dogwood bushes in a couple of spots, during the winter, their branches turn red which is pretty too.
