I agree that the interiors are surprisingly pedestrian, although they didn’t show many of them. Neat property otherwise.

Nothing that a $1M+ budget with a decent interior designer can't solve.

Ive been there a couple times for charity events. Its almost like a small village rather than one house. There is a wonderful ”chicken house” for their guinea hens and several huge white horses that come up to the fence for a pat. The owners seem very nice and tried for many years to sell the property as one piece but it has been subdivided into several very large lots. Beautiful spot.

It has been for sale since 2013. This video is from 2023. The last listing price was a steal. You could not replicate it today for that price. Several homes in the area (here) are in the same range, but not even close to its beauty.

ETA: Here is the listing for the two structures, one with turret. Comes with 12 acres.

My understanding is that the 12+ acre parcel is going to auction next month. Maybe someone will purchase it before that. It is a shame the original parcel had to be subdivided.
