Those cabinets look like a pretty warm gray. Have you looked into any "greige" colors? They are so popular right now (although not my favorite). If your "seemed neutral" gray pulled blue, try warmer shades. BM Silver Satin, Classic Gray, Gray Owl, Edgecomb Gray? SW Repose Gray, Light French Gray? If you did Ellie Gray as an accent wall, you could ask them to lighten it by 50% for the kitchen. Good luck!!

Agree that the cabinets look warm and greenish (not a bad thing) at least in these photos, so finding a true neutral may not actually be what you want. Neutral would also not be harmonious with these cabs (again, based on how they appear to me here). Neutral doesn't necessarily mean "goes with anything", it's its own temperature and tone. It also looks like you have pretty different light conditions in different parts of your kitchen, so I can see how getting two gray colors that look right all along the cabinet run would be a challenge!

I agree. I love grey and use it often, but you have to reign it in. I'd suggest white for the walls, but first: what colors are your counter and backsplash going to be?

Your lovely cabinets are green/gray, emphasis on green. I don't think the walls should be any gray.

My counters are as pictured (a marble-looking quartz) and backsplash is soft white. Floors are dark brown. Hoping for a VERY light greige wall to complement but lighten

Also something to note, my kitchen is open to my main living area, foyer and has cathedral ceilings so whatever color I do has to extend to that entire area. Thinking of an accent wall in living room to break it up some

whoops, I didn't notice before that your counters are already installed. anyway, I still suggest a white wall color that matches the countertops. choose a backsplash that compliments the cabinets. it doesn't need to be bold. let the shape, layout and/or texture of the tile be the star.

so your living room will be white. I like white. if an accent wall makes sense, do something fun like wallpaper, or millwork. but if an accent wall does not make sense (not all rooms will work with them), then all white walls can be lovely. make it interesting with great decor.

I have to agree with being careful not to go overboard on the gray, and that comes from a person whose whole house is painted gray, and I just painted my teen daughter's room gray last week (SW Big Chill- very light and airy, but might lean blue next to your cabinets). My children tease me by singing 'I see a white wall and I want it painted gray.'

We used silver drop from behr. Its a grieg, gray and sometimes looks white. Depends on which room its in and what time of day.

I used Behr "Statuesque" -- it's very soft and looks white-ish, depending on which wall at which time of day. Most people who've come to my home don't even realize that it's gray - they just know it feels clean and bright.

I agree with white walls to make cabinet color pop! That said, SW mindful gray is light gray with touch of green, moreso in evening with artificial light., maybe fior a different room. Good luck! Grays are tricky!
