Glenda - isn't that the truth? I can't open cartons of yogurt or sour cream, or the vegetables in clam packaging. What are we going to do??

Haha sonetimes i get a wrench to unscrew a bottle top. If things keep going like this, i might need power tools.

@eld616 I thought I should tell you I too use the mighty wrench often in the kitchen.. I can't open a soda bottle or anything else with a long neck.. I also crack the side of the tops of jars with it.

I did learn how to open pickles. Take a church key type can opener and use the rounded end gently pry up on the edges of the lid...keep going around and around with a gentle pry and all of a sudden you'll hear the pfff which is the vacuum seal releasing. Then the lid will come off easily.
