Bathroom design: Anything to change? Add?

We're working on a bathroom addition to a small house, converting an existing office into a 3/4 bathroom. Would love any feedback or ideas on where we've landed on design thus far.

We're currently working with a space that is 87" x 82". The 87" dimension is flexible--we are moving a wall between an existing closet and office to expand the closet and leave (hopefully) enough usable space to convert the office into a bathroom. The 82" dimension isn't flexible, as changing this triggers a lot of additional costs that we would like to avoid. Doors and windows are all existing.

As drawn, this is a 42" x 30" shower (with 5" curbs to = 47" x 35" footprint), a standard toilet, and a 30" x 21" vanity. The shower depth is already tight so really can't get increase this without sacrificing much-needed closet space. (Current closet is 35" x 82"; this expands it to 51" x 82" to create enough space to add a wall of shelves.)

Some wonderings:

- The door is outswing, but do we have enough space for (at least) a 24" shower door to open, or do we need to look at a curtain or other solution? It would block a little of the entry door, but would not hit. (The funky thing on the wall is just a robe hook that I was playing with in the design software!)

- Is this the best place for the towel rack, or is there another place we could put the towels? This spot requires removing a window that is currently there. It isn't a window with an amazing view so not a huge loss, but we are already removing a second window next to the toilet, so it would be nice to keep it if possible. (This was built as a "sleeping porch," which was a room lined with casement windows in early 20th century homes.) All of the windows need to be replaced so can be resized as needed.

- We could make the shower slightly bigger—space for toilet is 35" and only needs to be 30" by code—but I'm hoping to use a prefabricated shower system, so right now am working within those sizes. Is it worth trying to add the 5"? Is there anything else to do with this small amount of space?

- Anything else to consider adjusting here? Thank you!!
