I've never had a tablet so I "splurged" on a $45 Kindle fire for traveling. If I don't like it I can pass it along to my parents.

I looked for a mattress topper and chef's knives but was overwhelmed by the number of choices.

I was really hoping I’d find a mattress, no luck. Ordered one from JC Penney’s instead (great sale).

I’m not seeing anything on there I’m interested in. I did see on Twitter— there’s a petition to not let Bezos return to earth next month. 😂

Just a new sonicare for the Mr. - and replacement heads (which weren't on sale). Looking at some bed pillows, but kind of worried about the smell, so don't have any in my cart yet.

I bought a pair of shoes yesterday (Franco Sarto) which weren't on sale. However, I got the best price at Amazon, so I figure that's a deal. I think this is the third pair of shoes I've bought from Amazon, all name brand, all at the best price I found online.

TBH, I don't really need anything so haven't been looking through all the deals.

I bought some chaise lounge waterproof covers - but they weren't on sale. I wanted something to throw over my extra WHITE chaise lounge cushions-perfectly (LOL) decorated with pillows and a folded beach towel layed across the foot of it, when it rains. I get tired of taking everything off and stacking in our covered outdoor kitchen area and then putting it all back on again-so I'm hoping this is much less of a chore.

Bought myself a new mouse sander (mine bit the dust) and some food grade mineral oil - big whoop! But honestly it has more to do with what I need now than Prime day. The sense of panic-must-buy-now is a big turnoff for me.

I had $10 promo to spend, so bought 18 month old granddaughter a musical instrument set on DD2's list. It was also marked down for Prime Day. Today I ordered DH and I new InvisibleShield screens for our iPhones to replace current cracked or scratched screens. I spent half an hour chatting with Zagg agent yesterday, only to find my replacement screen was sent to our old address even though our new address is on their website. The website won't let me order a replacement on any brower or any electronics. Our chat was cut off when I had to take the dogs out. I responded to the chat copy email but haven't heard back. It's not worth my time to keep pursuing, so I just ordered since marked down.

I picked up a few things so far.. a cast iron scallop pan for the grill.. and an outdoor smart outdoor plug.

I am also considering upgrading my bose noise cancelling headphones.. and getting a kindle paperwhite for reading in the sun (i use my ipad indoors).

A LOT of other stores are offering sales to combat/coincide Prime Days. I have taken advantage of them for a few things:

• couple of pairs of Beyond Yoga leggings and bike shorts (20% off)
• Sheets from The Company Store (30% off)
• Considering a new tv from Best Buy.. but don't have much time to research before the end of the sale.
• Farm Girl Flowers to be delivered to a friend (20% off)

I also need new pillows-- no clue where/what I will get. My last ones came from Sofitel boutique but they have gotten very lumpy.

On yesterday’s Today show they were promoting a mattress that had a big discount on Prime Day. Casper, I think.

The Amazon Fire Stick is half price, I ordered one for the remaining dumb TV.

I had a $10 promo so I used that to pick up some more sprouted spelt flour and other than that nothing in my cart that I was hoping would be drastically slashed went on sale and the Coleman cooler I want is still at full price.

Funky, I love the down pillows from Warm Things. Mine are in perfect condition after 15 years. They are not inexpensive, though.

I should have pointed out that the Bose headphones are $100 off.. and i think the kindle is $50 off. Not bad deals.. but not sure i need either of them.

BUT I was told unofficially today that we're on permanent telework .. so if that is true, better headphones would be a great purchase.

@Zalco/bring back Sophie! .. I am checking out the pillows now. Which of the down options do you recommend? I am a side sleeper and trying to decide between level 2 and level 3.

Revitalash was 20% off for the $150 container, so i bought a couple. Last year it was 33% off, so not as good a deal this time.

i also purchased apple lightning charging cords and USB C cords by the dozen. Literally.

@User Dermstore has good sales plus a rewards program. Easy returns too, if needed. I've purchased Revitalash from Dermstore, but ordered RapidLash and RapidBrow yesterday after DD1 shared her brow experience.

Funky, I too am a side sleeper. I have the level three pillows (just one per person on the bed :-)

I did also.. wasn't sure which to order. I ended up getting 2 Premium 700 hungarian goose down level 3. I considered the overstuffed one (i have a big fat head lol)... but since i load up the pillows on my bed, I figured I could order more if these aren't quite right. I only sleep on 1 pillow.. but i use many (!!!) for propping/lounging/reading in bed.

I have been getting nighttime migraines lately and even the slightest lump in my pillow causes pain. I know it is a ridiculous princess and the pea situation but i am hopeful that the down pillow will make all the difference!

I have a new product to recommend. I had been looking more closely at ingredients in my toiletries and beauty products. Decided to buy a particular shampoo (can't recall the brand now!) that had no parabens, sulfates, etc etc... but what it did have was some ingredient that did not agree with my skin. So then I decided to order Beauty Counter shampoo and conditioner. My hair is fine but tends to get frizzy on the ends, which is not a good look as I am growing it out. Well, I have now used the BC products twice and I hardly recognize my hair! It just looks so much healthier.

I also bought BC lip gloss which is less exciting but I like it well enough. I should have gotten a slightly darker color.

I've never heard of Beauty Counter so looked up on Beautypedia. While they do not rate hair products, the other items they make do not get good reviews. Only the brushes. Glad the shampoo/conditioner is working for you. I discovered ColorWow products and have been happy with them. Might try BC shampoo in the future.
