What is wrong with my plant

A month ago, I received this plant and put it in a pot with organic soil from summer fields. Now the leaves are browing even when I keep the soil moist. Please advise

it looks sunburned. Thought looks like a tropical plant ,I'd enter the name on google and see what this plant prefers. Abrupt changes in light can cause problems. Hope you c find better help than I can give

It's nothing. Last nite I wanted to show you a pic, but it was dark out. Here's a pic of one of my Sedum Adolphiis. You can see the stem is turning into bark. Mine was green at one time. Keep your eye on it, but tbh I don't think you have to worry. Your plant is just starting to age:).If you don't like the look, you could always turn your plant into a cutting. That's totally up to your esthetic:).

Do you ever leave water on the crowns of the plants? I've seen cases where normally water on the crown doesn't cause issues but then for a short time the conditions are right for the sitting water to injure the tender growth at the crown. The conditions pass and the plants recover growing normally again but the scarring stays.

This is a ginger plant. Was doing just fine and growing a lot. i discovered these spots appearing on the leaves a week or two ago.. they seem to be spreading. I touched a stalk and there‘s a bit of a sticky substance (as well as some visible on the leaves too). What’s wrong and how can I fix it? thanks.

If you also see red or brown spots (could be underside), or spots with dark or yellow borders and grey centers, you have a fungal disease caused by spores carried in the wind and humidity. Follow the link and scroll down to look at the pics -- any of them match what you have?
