The normal suspect would be over-watering and/or a medium that holds too much water. Images not clear enough to say with any certainty sunburn is in play. When plants suffer sunburn, it's actually a chemical reaction in the leaf cuticle involving the plant's photosynthesizing mechanism. Without getting into too much detail, too much sun causes the plant to produce oxidase that oxidizes organic molecules. One of the oxidizers you'll undoubtedly recognize is H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide). Just as H2O2 bleaches (oxidizes) pigments in your hair and kills organic molecules in wounds, it also bleaches chlorophyll and other organic compounds in leaves. The result is usually a silvery/ gray/ white area toward the center of the over-exposed leaves. This area then turns brown to black, depending on the succulency of the leaf. I would expect leaves of jade to be black within a couple of days of exposure. The area you have drawn attention to in the first image looks to be a physiological disorder called oedema. It's primary driver is over-watering/ soil compaction, but several other cultural conditions can exacerbate it. It occurs when the plant's internal water pressure is high enough to burst cells, the contents of which leak into intercellular spaces in surrounding tissues. It starts as a blister or wet spot and eventually turns rough and corky. BTW - your plant would show a good measure of appreciation in return for increasing its photo load, also by a good measure. I have three pepper plants, two scorpion opera (Trinidad and moruga) and one ghost pepper plant. One of the scorpions and the ghost pepper seem to be turning yellow and are dropping their blooms. My other scorpion is doing fantastic. They all get watered the same, get about 12 hours of sunlight, and are seeing temperatures from 55 F to 90 F, depending on the day or night (I live in central Texas). Any idea what’s going on? I can’t decide if it’s a nutrient deficiency or nitrate toxicity, or maybe it’s something else entirely. This pepper plant is the one doing good. This one is the other scorpion, which has some obvious yellowing. This is my ghost pepper, which seems to be doing better than the other scorpion, but still doesn’t seem to be doing as well as the scorpion in the first picture. Here’s a picture of all three of them, with the ”healthiest“ one farthest on the right, with significantly greener leaves. On a side note, does anyone know why the leaves are somewhat bumpy and crinkled on all of them?

I also questioned size of pot in my original post, but didn't say that you should use smaller one. Karen is right. If you find that plan is tipping pt over, you can place a larger rock or 2 on top of the mix. I use large rocks to support newly repotted plants, but they can be good counterweights too. Or use pot that is not so deep but wider at the base, so it is more stable. Terracotta/clay pots are also more stable, because they are heavy. I use mostly plastic for that reason. I also mentioned that I would cut of leaves that are mushy - didn't say that you should since I really can't see the mushines in your photo. I keep succulents in smaller pots. Not because "they like it" as some ppl suggest, but for lack of space. If plant gets too big, I rather divide it and give away some. The reason I do not grow Aloe vera - it's leaves grow quite long... I know that pp used put some rocks or pieces of broken terracotta pots over drainage hole to prevent mix from falling out. Use piece of window screen or any other mesh with small openings. Or even piece of landscape fabric (it lets water thru), or coffee filter. Even piece of newspaper will work, but it will decompose.

If you put a plant straight outside without slowly acclimatising it it can suffer. Your plant has sunburn.
