Ive been having all sorts of problems for awhile. Autoc Autocorrect doesnt work, duplicate words, freezing. words connected by some random chara character. On my ipad. Tired of going back and making corrections.

I have been having trouble on my ipad thought it was the keyboard i am using.

Not sure if it's related, but I had a large system update this week and since then, I have no autocorrect (a blessing in some ways and not in others) and spell check is completely gone. The latter, I sure could use as I can't seem to spell my way out of a paper bag anymore.

Any time I start having trouble with this site I don't use it to write my notes I merely copy and paste. I most of the time write on email and then copy and paste. I like using email as the window for typing is larger anyway.

I seldom use my phone because I don't know how to start a topic in KT. It doesn't show up as a forum name. Neely, on the Cooking site hasn't been posting as often because of typing issues as well.

If you have an Android phone, check to see what keyboard software is being used. There are alternatives- Google and Swift Key are common choices. Maybe the setting was changed in an update?

Try rebooting the phone.

I thought it was my iPad. Freezing. No capitalisation. Repeated words so I get the autocorrected word plus the incorrect version.

I have tried to post quotes twice today and they show up on the board then when I come back later they are gone. Both post show up in my activity so I read through and found no bad words or reason they should not show up.

Yes double words, too. And freezing. I’ll take comfort knowing it’s not just me.

There was a long discussion about this on another forum. it has been happening to many of us for a few weeks now, ever since some updates were performed on our Apple products, but only when using Houzz, apparently. Some things have gotten better but not all. Very frustrating to those of us who like to be correct with punctuation, etc. Seems like Houzz doesnt care.

I have been having the double words then freezing on fb this past two weeks. I can override the freezing sometimes by clicking on an earlier word but when I go to delete whichever word is incorrect the posting goes to never neverland. This is on my regular laptop and not an Apple product. Since most of the words show what I typed and what the system thinks is the correct word for the scientific name for a plant it has become frustrating. Copying and pasting after it unlocks by clicking on an earlier word is not working because when I attempt to paste nothing is there.

My iPad autocorrect goes dolally as well, but only on Houzz.

You know, I never used to. But lately it's like my keyboard is smaller yet I've had the same phone 18 months and my fingers have not gotten fatter *(I think). When I FM friends, now I'm more prone to run to my office and get on my computer because I can type faster on the computer regardless. But the typos on my phone are ridiculous.

On the ipad, yes but on the desk mac, no.
