Can I paint my home interior walls without Air Conditioning?

Hi everyone!

I need to paint my interior walls (all of them and ceilings) inside a Florida-based home. Temperatures and humidity are high. I have work being done on my AC unit that is not operational but I am ready up against a deadline to get the painting done in order to progress a larger reno project.

I was wondering if it was okay if I painted the interior without any AC going and opened up the doors/windows? I do have a dehumidifier, several fans, and a portable AC unit that I can use to help regulate the temperature.

Anybody have advice on whether this is okay or not?

The biggest risk I have seen is that it will just take the paint longer to try if it's humid.

Read the paint can and see what it says about temperature and humidity. You will be uncomfortable but the paint will be fine.

To answer what we did before AC, we chose the drier/cooler Fall to paint outside and inside we waited until the winter.

I googled:

The ideal humidity level for painting is between 40% and 50%. If you're indoors, it's easy to attain that level with a dehumidifier. When you're outside, though, it's not as easy. If necessary, you can paint in up to 80% to 85% humidity.

Open the grill by releasing the two latches (pull them down, they're attached to the edge of the grill and don't come off). The grill is hinged at the other end and should there hang open. If you want to remove it completely to clean and/or paint it, it should unhook at the hinges. The filter simply fits up inside the frame. Swing the grill up/closed and reset the latches. If there's no filter, then whoever was there previous to you either ran the system without a filter, or removed it before they left. If run for a period of time without a filter, the evaporator (cooling) coil up in the blower unit may be clogged. In some oddball cases there may be a(nother) filter up inside the blower unit ... which if so, that may explain why (if) there's no filter at the grill. But the point of having the filter at the grill is for ease of access to change it without going into the blower unit.

Most of the standalone icemakers have short lives for some bizarre reason. I went through two ulines over the years (the company even gave me the second so I'd stop bitching about how bad they were). Perlick comes highly recommended so that's what I'm trying now. I have other Perlick stuff in my outdoor kitchen, so I do believe they are more of "commercial" quality.

i like the fireplace screen ideas or radiator covers i also like the cabinet used but i think its too big and black, if you could get something lower and white and span the entire area to the right as well it would look cohesive and not stick out the big black cabinet takes more away from your view than the radiator by itself does

I have done some painting recently using Benjamin Moore Regal paint. It is great paint except it dries too fast. A longer drying time would actually be better in my opinion.

Looks like we are in good shape to go ahead and paint. From what I googled, it definitely seems like the drying time will slowdown but that's okay. Thanks again!

The outdoor humidity will probably be higher than the indoor humidity, so I'm not sure opening the doors and windows will help. (You may be more "comfortable" if you have a cross breeze, but it wont affect the humidity).
