Heat pump issues

Kathsgrdn

Even though it's 83 degrees it is now pouring rain and am hoping it cools the house off some. Stupid heat pump has been having problems since I first turned the air conditioning on a couple weeks ago. It was low on coolant, and the filter was pretty dirty (long haired dog in the house). Now the motor fan is broken. Last week they came and got it started but warned me not to turn the fan off or it wouldn't start back. I was at work last night and the power had gone out when I was gone. At least I don't have to replace the whole thing. I now wish I had just told them to change it last week. I thought I could let it go a little bit longer.
