One rose, two questions

Hi everyone,

Haven't posted here in a few years but I have a rose I would like to identify, so this was the first place I thought of to ask!

Also, I am showing pictures below of the roots of this rose. Last fall I removed it from a very neglected bed to move it. While it wasn't doing great, it wasn't doing poorly either, and I was shocked to see the root of this. I put it in a temporary raised bed because it seemed so fragile, but is doing quite well this spring.

I believe it is a David Austin. In bud...

In bloom...

Blown after heavy rain

Here are the roots.

Looks like it has been eaten away, and I was surprised to see it make it over the winter. I'd like to replant it this fall in a more permanent bed. Any chance that it will grow stronger roots this season? Any tips for replanting?

And what the heck, while I'm here - I'm sure some of you have noticed some of the leaves have been affected - can you tell me by what?

Thank you all so much!

:)

Dee
