Beekeeper-When my kids were little I was so lax about them walking around with food and crayons. Now I am a drill sergeant. "Let me see your hands" is what I say after they've eaten and are about to sit on the couch. I make them wash their hands even if I don't see anything. I will definitely go with slipcovers, being that I'm as strict as I am. Thank you! I will try and find a code or ask someone. Polly929 on a previous post, and who has the penney's slipcovered sofa, mentioned she cleans the cushion covers in the wash. I think the company posts "dry clean" as a precaution but that's just my guess. Macy's now has the Lucie slipcovered line in stores. Unfortunately at this point the company doesn't make extra slipcovers. This collection looks just like the one at Penney's but they are just ever so slightly different. Thanks for the info! I would go with black. I think white would be too jarring with the rest of your stone, countertops, wall color, and back splash-none of which seem to have any white at all, but are more earthy in tone. Love your double fireplace. I would like to alter ours between the living room/dining room into one like yours. Very pretty spaces and I think your table idea will be great!

well, first you have to remove the chandelier and find out why it's wonky...sometimes they screw in and need to be tightened, but that would be where the arm attaches to the body. Occasionally, where the bulb goes in can get bent, and the inside of that is bendable to an extent...but it can also break off so you need to be careful with this... Of course, don't force anything and remove the bulb. It really just takes a bit of exploration as to what's going on...

Round tables from what I’ve gathered take up less space so I’m not sure why a 58” diameter would be too big, but a 72”x42” would fit properly. I think either would look fine and also laid out a 70x30 ruffly measured table, honestly I preferred the round and felt I had more space.
