Good morning! Kitty to the left, kitty to the right and a completed times crossword puzzle on the computer, which has a switch.

This is the 'switch' to my elevator that I showed earlier this week in the things with no wheels thread. The press to activate buttons must be held in for the duration of the ride up or down.

A few years ago DH bought a set of plastic dinosaurs and set them around the front flower bed. Little kids love playing with them while parents sit on the brick wall. The dinosaurs come in for the fall (they migrate South, don't you know) as we switch to a wolf pack for the winter months (hooowwwwl!)

Thirty or more years ago I was at a community yard sale. An elderly lady had this light for sale. A man saw it first and was trying to buy it from her. It was $50 and she wouldn't come down on the price. She said it hung in the foyer of her parents' house in Chicago. He said he would be back later to see if she came down on the price. The moment he turned away, I whipped out my $50 and bought it. It has isenglass inserts. I love it.

We use this early 20th century light switch as a paper weight.

And, obviously, life is impossible without the electric kettle.
