Seeing your garage only, my pick for garage door color would be the red of the side door. From the pic of house front door I’m assuming your house is that same red? I’d just want to make sure big red garage doors don’t detract from house. If not, then go red. The front door should shine & stand out as it should with it having a different accent color.

It depends on how much focus you want the garage to pull. Painting them the same color as the siding will take away some focus. That can be a good option with front-facing garages.

Can you post a picture that shows the house and the garage? Its a bit confusing.

Not really getting the whole Craftsman/Arts n Crafts home/vibe. I think you can do whatever colors you like.

You could do a coral door. coral and turquoise are natural compliment to each other. trim out the casing w/a nice white.

any of these would also work for door color. (including your front door. what's there now isn't really the best color for your home)

what I think you should do is paint these garage doors. I'd also bring in the carriage hardware

If you really want to "Arts/Crafts" the color, use a deep plum/eggplant on the door, and some wood garage doors. bring in diff lighting, an address plaque, and plant some coordinating flowers around the door. This is really pretty

since you have a peacock color on the siding, are you up for colors that work w/it?

for instance, notice the one door color. slighting lighter than your siding color. shown with it are yellows and a darker peacock color.

You could paint your garage doors (and the side door) this deeper charcoal color, and use the chartreuse for your fornt door

I like the witch hazel color for the trim, maybe the sage for the front door, garage doors.

your siding is slightly lighter than Dark Knight. you could go w/dovetail for garage door, and maybe the gray for the trim, peppercorn or sea salt for the doors

this top one matches yours (well two of them do). it's from SW historic color palette. I think the addition of the other colors would look better.

at the bottom are some some other blue/green combos. If you did that greenish color w/the teal, instead of that brick red color, it might look really nice.

Watery would be pretty on the ceiling, GreenBay-siding, stairs/pillars-Mega or a creamy white, door color any of the others.

honestly, I think with a diff accenting on the siding and colors of trim, you'd get a completely diff look.

I don't care for the porch ceiling, trim, stairs, posts, all the same teal color. I also don't think the brick color compliments your house the best either.

for example, here are similar colors to yours. do you see how the addition of the Cream color trim work really makes the look?

Or, what about this one? the nice white w/the teal, black or dark charcoal door/window trim, really looks great. I don't think painting it all in the teal makes it look right!

You have a gorgeous porch!! That ceiling...! wow. if you could strip that down the original wood and stain it, refinish the flooring, and get some other colors, it would look stunning.

Does it matter that what @Wheatenfool Snow asked about was the color for garage doors (only)? My understanding is OP is happy with house colors but now entire garage needs repainting & garage doors never were painted so the question is, what color? Cost of repainting entire house doesn‘t sound like in the plan. Just sayin’

KW .. Does it matter that I never mentioned painting the entire house? If you notice, all of my color combos work w/the Teal siding color. I merely pointed out that doing the trim in a diff color that works better w/the garage doors is an option. Did you bother to read what I wrote or just look at pictures?

when I posted my comment, all I had was this picture to go off of. All I said was painting the door a diff color and possily painting the trim in cream would look great.

Well, ouchie Beth! 😃. I’ll admit I was a bit overwhelmed by all the varied options in your 2 replies and lost track. But, to answer your question of me, my advice to OP on paint color was the first posted answer. I voted on the color to paint her garage doors based on the original 4 pics posted & the question she asked. I did need to study the pics to understand I wasn’t looking at a garage attached to a house.

I would do the bottle green. Red tends to fade more quickly than other colors.

@houssaon makes a good point. The green might be a less high-maintenance choice.
