Maybe a bit more contrast for the house.

I hope you're very careful about any changes you do make because your house has great dignity and style the way it is and it'd be a shame to destroy that. What about painting just the trim an unexpected color, like sky blue, that would brighten, refresh, and modernize the exterior but with little cost and no big changes? I live in California, and houses with this architecture and size are mostly in the expensive neighborhoods, so they're on the rare side, and maybe that's why I value your style of house so much.

I’d paint the trim. Depending on the look your comfortable with.

I would do a new garage door. And the arch above the window should be removed or add an arched window there. And then I’d clean the stucco over the windows...

It looks like the garage has a hip room & maybe the main part of the house? Or is the camera angle deceiving?

If the rest of the roof is a hip roof, I would replace the gable with a hip roof. If you can do that, then it will get rid of that faux sunburst & arch over the window. The arch/ sunburst and molding under the window are not doing this house any favors. Great looking house otherwise.

It is one of the options to go. It is how I see it. I am crazy about taupe, earthy colors. They go good with red brick. Sure you can go with lighter color for trim.

I just thought your home needed some areas that receded instead of advancing. If you don't paint the panels around your arched window a paint color darker than the window, it will always show up more than the window itself. Just a thought.
