I suggest new landscaping to replace the muffin-style shrubs. The brick looks fine. A new color on the shutters would be a good change. Sage or forest green, denim or navy blue.

Nice looking house! I agree, paint shutters sage and improve landscaping. To cut cost, maybe first thing is to let shrubs grow and then read up on how to prune naturally rather than shaping them into geometric shapes. They should look branchy and fluffy and a bit random.

I would not paint the brick. It is permanent. Your brick color leans warm so I would choose a warmer color or one that complements the warm, for the shutters, etc., instead of gray. I think if you updated the landscaping it would improve the curb appeal. I don't care for the spotty mounds of shrubs.

Thank you! I agree with the landscaping. What is mostly stumping me is a trim color that looks modern and matches the reddish orange brick and the reddish brown roof.

No, Gray. It wont look good with your roof. The brick looks nice as it is. Sage isnt a favorite color of mine, but, on your house, I do think its a perfect color to go with your brick, and your roof. The biggest change you can make, will be to work on the landscaping. All those little round balls, not only look outdated, they look fake and a bit silly. You could try growing them out, but, I doubt they will ever amount to much of anything. They are all bare branches at the bottom, and its replacement time. Make sure your new landscaping has some flowering type shrubs, and plants.

Put the sage (or whatever shutter color) on the garage door as well. I think landscaping is your best bet overall. The house itself is nice. (Some of the plants look like keepers as well. They will be happy to be liberated from the hedger.)

The bricks gorgeous. In addition to others suggestions to paint shutters and landscape, I’d get a new wow front door. The current one is lacking
