Warm lightweight blanket-throw washable
Comments (12)Thank-you Trailrunner I'll give that one a look-see.. Fun, She has no family. She worked with my mom as a nurse. When my mother was alive she took care of her .She has such a vibrant mind with a failing body. I already ironed her name to all her clothing and brought in a basket for the dirty so I can take it home to wash. I bring meals in whenever I can. It's so sad that for $8000 a month you would think they could answer the call button..(End of life care is a whole other story)...See MoreRecommendation for cotton & wool filled (?) deep pocket mattress
Comments (20)Oh liriodendron wherefore art thou with the linen sheets info? Times a running out for me to order! Would anyone else have a preferred brand of linen sheets??? Edited for update: I should have started a seperate post on the linen sheet thing. ! I ordered a 100 % linen fitted sheet from Linoto. I don’t know what I’m doing! They seem nice as far as reviews go. Why I picked this company… I could just buy the one fitted sheet to try instead of a whole set, they have nice color choices to match already purchased bedding and they have deep pockets, *made in the U.S.A, and I don’t have time to look anymore. So, done! I so hope this will help, along with the other purchases on the night time hot flashes. I hope my husband doesn’t get the urge to beat me with the bedside lamp if I start tossing and turning, pulling covers on, pulling covers off…and all in a little full size bed lol. Comments (22)Lissam very quickly! I also keep some type of long sweater or robe draped on top of my euro pillows stacked beside my nightstand. Add the cold to the fact that I’m not a morning person and it’s brutal, ha. I would like to use cotton flannel sheets but I think DH and I would get to warm. Our kids have wonderful cotton flannel sheets on their beds. I switch them to cotton percale in summer. Dh and I sleep on cotton percale all year and I have a down alt comforter (bought from Amazon) in a cotton/linen duvet. It’s lightweight. I keep a faux fur throw at the end of the bed and will throw that on top if I’m cold when I hop in bed. I keep meaning to get other coverlets and duvets to switch out but it keeps falling on my not that important right now list....See MoreFavorite blanket?
Comments (22)We have 100% cotton woven blankets on all of our beds. I'm in the process of buying new bedding for two queen size beds and I'll buy woven cotton with a texture - baffle weave, diamond, basket etc. I don't have a problem with the sheets or blanket shifting. Maybe the texture helps them stay in place. Some of the blankets that are currently on our beds are easily over 10 years old and have been laundered many times - in warm water and medium heat in the dryer. They were probably bought at Macy's, Marshall's or The Company Store. It's interesting to read the care instructions for most of these new blankets that I'm looking at - machine wash cold and tumble dry low. DH sleeps hot and doesn't care for the down alternative comforter that I bought from The Company Store. Ours look very much like these: https://www.macys.com/shop/product/madison-park-egyptian-cotton-blankets?ID=14214310&CategoryID=29405 https://www.macys.com/shop/product/lauren-ralph-lauren-classic-100-cotton-blankets?ID=15734407&CategoryID=29405 Maire...See Morehhireno
