HVAC questions, quality assurance needed

I’m in the process of building, have question re supply vent locations.

First, the Kitchen is 18’ long and 17’ wide with 10’ ceiling, opens to family room on the with 14’ ceiling. There is a "drop down" between the kitchen and the family room. My concern is that the supply vents for the kitchen are only 2’ into the kitchen, so approximately 15' from the opposite wall. They're spaced about 12’ apart, I'm good with that. But, my stove is 15’ from the vents I wonder if the far side of the kitchen (exterior wall where stove is) will cool properly. NOTE, THE WIDE ANGLE MAKES THE VENTS APPEAR MUCH CLOSER TO THE OPPOSITE WALL THAN THEY REALLY ARE.

Second question: Look in the photo and see "red" the vents in the dining area, about 2 feet on the other side of the beam. Being close to the kitchen side of the dining room, I'm thinking they should be a foot or two off of the windows as this is a west-facing room, in Texas! FYI the room is 17' wide plus 2' nook, by 13.5 deep.

Thanks for your help!
