We bought 4 pieces of 2'x2' drywall and painted the bottom 4 inches our trim color and the rest of it one of the 4 possible choices we were considering. We wanted the carry them to different rooms of our current rental to see the colors in different lighting, different size rooms and different times of the day (we also have to pick one choice for our whole house in our new build).

(See link above) They are both near neutrals from the Yellow Hue Family and can be prone to colour shift in certain imbalanced lighting. Anew Gray sits closer to the Yellow-Red Hue Family and so can be inclined to shift purple in lighting which spikes more in blue/violet wavelength. It doesn’t happen in every setting so as mentioned above, they require testing in your space to see how they render. Analytical Gray may also shift purple but maybe less inclined to do so than Anew Gray as it sits just a touch further into the Yellow Hue Family. It is also more colourful than Anew Gray (more Chroma). Analytical Gray may in some settings, show moments of greenness, a little like the sensation you might note when viewing a bronze. Again you need to see how it behaves with your lighting.

I tried Amazing Gray in my house 10+ years ago...it took me 3 rooms to admit that the prison gray was never going to get better. I repainted a week later. Absolutely do a test and watch what happens to the color at different times of the day.

I understand if you have had the same color for a long time that you want something different. You love your mahogany furniture. Cream is beautiful with mahogany, but so is taupe (gray beige with purple/pink undertones). It is a completely different look, but both make the mahogany the star. I showed you several Sherwin Williams colors, but if you want to get away from beige and want something unique and wonderful with your mahogany I would order a sample of C2 Archival. C2 paint is made with better pigments and they use 16 different colors vs the 8 or so used by a BM or SW color mixer. In my opinion they nailed the perfect light taupe in Archival. Added below between the two greens. If I didn't have a huge (10') pink brick wall that houses my fireplace and separates my living room and foyer I would have used Archival in my own home, but the pink brick didn't get along with the taupe. The color I used that looked great with the pink brick wouldn't work with your colors. (BM Frosted Toffee.) With your furniture and the countertop and flooring that you chose I would go more taupe / warm gray than beige.
