dirtymartini...did you paint your house yet? Have you changed your mind about the bonefish colors? I'm currently in a home I'd have never chosen but I'm determined to bloom where I'm planted. It's very contemporary in style and is imposing on the lot. The roof is NOT neutral...it's that orangey-brown shingle color and I've tried to figure out exterior colors for over a year...and then...your post! I think I have a touch more brown in my shingles than in your roof...my roof color is more along the lines of the wood trim on the bonefish example you posted above and not as deep as the awning...but I still think the colors may work. I'd love to see your home finished. Please keep us posted.

The windows started with my bathroom window -- I didn't want the boys in the house across the way to see my boobs when I got out of the shower. I don't get paid enough for that ! But my bathroom is so tiny I felt if I hung curtains I'd feel entombed in there, like clawing for air. Besides, I liked my view from there. I just wanted to obscure the bottom few inches from view. So after wracking my brain, this was my solution. I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures. I figure we gals can do about anything we put our minds to and we do not need big budgets or huge homes to have pretty decor that makes people oooh and aaah and want to visit. I am a perpetual decorator - lol.

So the first picture is at the bottom of the stairs with the entry door to the right, the second is just what you see when you are in front of the door, the third is going down the stairs towards the entry door and the last is at the top of the stairs. Is that correct? You could do something fun with the stairs themselves. @Flo Mangan I am not decided on having a rug in the dining area. And it is more like 9.5ft by 11.5ft per my husband, will remeasure that area and the round table.
