I have a good quality, wireless Logitech mouse with a scroll wheel. It's worked perfectly for many months. Lately, however, the scroll wheel has been acting up. When I'm on the computer it will scroll down, but when I want to scroll back up it will only go up a ways, but not to the top of the page. It's not frozen because I can scroll back down and the rest of the buttons work just fine. I checked the mouse settings, and fiddled with button assignments, etc., but no luck. It happens with the two browsers I use (Chrome and Firefox), and it happens when I am not on the Internet (such as scrolling through a long PDF file). My computer is an HP desktop running Win10 that is only a year or so old and has good specs. I've also checked Task Manager: nothing unusual is running in the background and the CPU and memory usage are low.
Any ideas on what to try next?
