Here's a link to a recipe from David Leibovitz called Chocolate Orbit Cake, aka Chocolate Idiot Cake, aka Flourless Chocolate Cake. I've made it a number of times and it's a winner. It might help you re-build the recipe.

Ricky, what do you remember about this? Do you know if it was baked? Bundt is tradmarked and I can't find any Mirro bundt pans. People on eBay are calling tube pans (angle food cake), ring pans (bigger center hole, one piece, rounded bottom, often used for coffee cake) and fancy molds made by Mirro "bundt pans". Was Karen's pan one of these? Or doe it look something like a Nordic Ware Bundt pan? This is mostly important for the volume, though there are a few sizes of Bundt pans as well.

Was there a cheesy filling? A lot of bundt cakes with cream cheese have that.

Was there a "frosting" made with the ice cream and whipped cream, or were they incorporated into the body of the cake?

Do you think the "sugar flour baking soda (powder) salt microwave" are part of the recipe? The microwave is obviously used on the ice cream, but do you think it might have also been used for the "baking"?

Was this chilled like a mousse rather than baked?

Could the oil be 1 C?

This is my best guess as to what Karen's words actually say:

Phil [adephia cream cheese?] (+ pudding mix)
3 eggs
/6 oil
1 1/2 water

Mix for about 5 minutes

2 pts softened ice cream 25-30 sec. on high. Let sit for 2-3 min.
8 oz. whipped cream whipped together with 2 TBSP Bg. cocoa [baking? Belgian?]
5t? + sugar?
Mirro bundt pan
Rest 10 min.

I've done a big search for similar recipes, and have found a lot that are in the same vein, but none that are really close to having the listed ingredients.

There are a lot of "melted ice cream" cakes but those are more about subbing the ice cream for milk in a standard cake.

Flourless chocolate cake such as was faddish in restaurants in the 1990's were really something between a mousse and a soufflé and depended heavily on eggs.

I spoke to my daughter this morning and she said this was definitely not Karen's flourless cake. On the other hand, this sounds awesome, and I'm going to follow your suggestion over the weekend.

We had Mirro brand pots and pans that I stole from my mother when I moved out at 21. Karen's cake was made in a nine-by-nine. And it did not use ice cream in the mix. One other thing. This is not her handwriting. There's another recipe on the facing page that I remember well and I recognize her scrawl.

Oh, Phew! I actually thought that those were notes for a combination of things, not an actual recipe. No better source than your daughter. ;) A flat cake pan or 9x9 would work fine for a standard flourless chocolate cake. :)

Just as a comment, I thought it said “micro (wave) bundt pan“ as “microwave“ was mentioned earlier on the page.

To me, it looks like two recipes. The first looks almost like notes jotted down for a microwave mug cake. But it isn't complete.

The second set of ingredients suggests (to me, at least) one of those cakes that used melted ice cream. They were all the rage a while back.

Mix:
P'hil (+ pudding mix)--I think this might be a chocolate cake mix with pudding in the mix. Maybe it was D'hines? (that's a reach though)
3 eggs
/6 oil--I read this as 1/4 cup oil which is likely with a mix
1 1/2 cups water

Mix for about 5 minutes

I would then add:

2 pts softened ice cream 25-30 sec. on high. Let sit for 2-3 min.

Bake in a greased bundt pan at 350 for about an hour.

Cool

Frost with
8 oz. whipped cream whipped together with 2 TBSP Bg. cocoa [baking? Belgian?]

What a puzzle! I’m going to throw out a lot of random bits I noticed. Maybe it will ring a bell with some of you more astute cooks.

I don’t think you would combine sugar, flour, baking soda (powder), and salt, then microwave. There is nothing to melt or cook.

DIY cake mix is sugar, flour, baking powder, and salt.

There is no baking temp or time. Is it a refrigerator cheese cake?

This is a vintage Anchor Hocking microwave bundt pan. Look familiar? Pampered Chef had one too.

I read those first five words as meaning things you'll need, rather than the recipe itself. The microwave was for softening the ice cream.

Plllog, could be, but when I sketch out a recipe, I’ll list the ingredients on left side of the page and then what is to be done with them on the right. Whoever wrote this may have done the same because in the second grouping out to the right is “mix (5 min)”. Just a wild guess.

Yeah. I was thinking one column ingredients, one column equipment. As you said, there's nothing to zap in that section.
