Excited watching for all colors of spring to start popping

Not much color above ground except for my faithful hellebores.

Ahh spring! This will happen again soon, just as it did last year and the one before that, etc, etc. Hope springs eternal!

Miniature daffodils in my yard. Welcome, Spring!

Flowers are definitely the theme. A little too early for daffodils still, so this is from last spring.

Daffy's are my very favourite flower!

Some purple flowers...I saw these in Japan and do not remember what they are called.

Bletilla striata is correct. Aka Chinese Ground Orchid.

floral_uk z.8/9 SW UK, thanks for that ID. I was pretty sure that the flower was a dahlia, but I did not know which one. The plants got very tall, which is why there is so much sky in the photo.
