Yes, the time changes bother me. My body stays on Daylight Savings time year round and I wish we could have that all of the time.

Yes especially in the Spring. I was getting used to waking up to soft morning light and now it is back to darkness. I will be tired and probably grumpy for a week or two then my body will adjust.

It doesn’t seem to bother me at all. I really don’t have a regular schedule and just do what I want when I want. I love looking at the night sky, so I often will get up in the middle of the night or stay up late or get up early if there is a special celestial event, which is almost all the time. I like long walks, especially when the moon is full and will often go out after midnight, summer or winter. I don’t have a regular bedtime. I sleep when I’m tired.

I waken before daylight anyway so no, the change doesn't bother me at all. Other than trying to remember what the clock in my car is set at........I have given up trying to figure out how one makes any adjustments, so it is fixed year round.

I hate the time change! Just pick one, and stick with it year-round. We’re going to have “x” hours of daylight, no matter what you call it/how you slice it!

I like having the longer evenings, but am not a morning person. I like the change in the fall, too, when I enjoy the long winter evenings. I'm retired but if I were still working, I'd hate going to work in the dark and getting home in the dark again.

Living in the south, DST is an expensive PIA, aside from the amount of time it takes for my body to adjust to the twice-yearly change. I saw Georgia had a bill up to stay on real time year round, I wish all southern states would, but I guess GA isn't beholden to the oil/energy companies like TX is.

Nothing like going to bed in March and waking up in January. Too dark and too cold.

Setting the few clocks that don't set themselves is a minor annoyance. Retired, so no particular time to get up, not even for church because we're still on-line only.

I'd be happy to switch to DST permanently. I like the 'extra' hours of evening daylight in summer, and winter is going to be dark morning and evening anyhow so who cares.

I remember once hearing about an incident concerning either a southern state, or the western region of one with split time, that was considering advancing its time zone to correspond to Eastern Time for ease of dealing with businesses and folks to the east. The bill was defeated by heavy lobbying from farming interests who were concerned that advancing the time one hour would cut down the number of daytime hours of sunshine their crops would receive and would adversely affect yields.

Really dislike springing forward. I don’t like mornings as it is and the change makes it that much harder.

During WW2 we had daylight saving time all year round. I was teaching in a rural school. Those children milked cows before coming to school. Since the cows didn't observe DST I started the school day at 10 instead of nine.

I grew up at 30° latitude, where it really doesn't make sense to have DST. In fact, it seems unnecessary further north as well, since the evenings are going to be longer anyway.

I think it is better to keep the same time all year. It doesn't affect me at this point, since I am retired, and it never affected my father, since he was a farmer and only used the sun to determine when to do things. DST did not change his schedule at all.

I think DST exaggerates the difference between summer and winter, and I prefer to have seasons that blend together more.

It doesn't affect me physically but I hate it suddenly getting dark an hour early in autumn.

I hear that studies have shown that car wrecks and heart attacks go up dramatically the week after a time change.

Our thermostat doesn’t reset its clock, it can take me a week or two to wonder why it is so cold or warm at certain times.

I prefer DST but it does take my circadian clock a few days to adjust.

This morning I woke up at my usual time, 6AM, but the clock said 7AM. I wish we would just stick to one time all year long.

However my cat Maggie adjusted Sunday morning. She normally starts trying to wake us up at 5:30. She jumped on me at what had been 4:30 Sunday. How did she know? She used the new time again this morning. This is not helping my being cranky about this.

Not at all. I don't know how people can travel if a one hour time difference affects them. IMO, it's no different than going to bed an hour late or an hour early. Or waking up before your alarm or sleeping through your alarm.

Only when I have to get up early the day we spring forward, like yesterday. Otherwise, like others who live by their own schedules, I am unaffected.

Only that I lost an hour of sleep Saturday night and had to get up early Sunday morning to go to work. Oh and the sunrise was beautiful but blinding at times on the drive in.

Not really. The only effect it has on me is if I am working when the time changes. I either have to work an extra hour or get to go home after 11 hours instead of 12. This time change i was off. Other than that, I have no issues. Intend to just roll with it as with most things in life that I can't control.

I'd never thought about people "on the clock" at 2:00am, when the official change takes place. Working that extra hour seems unfair, unless you're paid an extra hour that day.

If I remember right from working night shift at the hospital they didn't pay us an extra hour, the assumption was you would make that up when we lost an hour.

Some occupations like truck driver or train crew you are federally limited to 12 hours on duty. The company can get fined if that is exceeded.

It doesn't bother me, I don't get up til 9am. I love daylight savings time to allow for some evening yardwork, when you are employed, days off doesn't allow enough time to get it all done

In hospitals we often worked 16 hours shifts and occasional 24 hour shifts.
