I just had to share :-)
Comments (28)Hello Gardengal, Nckvilledudes, Buyorsell and everyone. I loved the Yukiokoshi. It is a stunner. I really admire the petal formation. Since we're sharing... I just came back from picking up two more Clems that I have been wanting for quite a while. I bought Josephine (evijohill) and Arctic Queen (Evitwo)! I am very excited about these new additions. I will be clearing out some japanese iris to make room for them on the trellis. I love the fall sales, they were marked down 30%. I was very pleasantly surprised to find them at my local nursery. I was just getting ready to make the leap and order online....See MoreHated my BlueStar RCS range for 2 years, had it tuned, now I love it!
Comments (21)Big box and discount stores often have a different number. Sometimes there are slight differences in the model, others it's just an identifier that you got it at Costco. Maybe do a shout out to Trevor or Jakvis who might know how to unpack the model numbers? From looking at the listings I've been able to figure out that the "30" is for a nominally thirty inch wide range. The 4B seems to be for four burner. (The 36" one is 6B.) I think the V2 is for the height of the back--vertical level two. (edit: Correction from John_Williams50--V2 is for Version 2) "SS" on other appliances is often "stainless steel", but I don't know if that's so for BS. If so, "C" near the end would be for "color"....See MoreHas anyone priced out blue tempest/tempest blue quartzite?
Comments (27)Tanisha, that is gorgeous. I saw something similar that was called Blue lava (MSI). I didn’t think I wanted blue but the slab was just stunning in person. Thinking it would really stand out with bright white matte shaker cabinets and a plain matte subway tile backsplash to really let this be a statement piece. Have you done the quartzite test on it?...See MoreIndian quartzite - River Blue
Comments (12)We are about to get River Blue (RB) installed in our kitchen. My understanding is this and Fantasy Brown (FB) are of the same family of stone which both come from India. Our designer has FB in her kitchen and many friends with RB…no complaints on durability. I found this article https://www.thegraniteplace.net/blog/fantasy-brown-stone/ on the many classifications of FB which most likely apply to RB as well. We are going to treat our counters like marble with the comfort of knowing it will be way more forgiving....See Moreflippernutter
