Breakfast was five hours ago. Porridge, as always. Preceded by three mugs of black coffee In bed.

Coffee, orange juice, egg over easy, and half of a bagel with strawberry/ rhubarb jam.

Nothing. I don't eat until lunch. I'm not hungry in the morning.

A mug of Inka with 2 tsps of torbanado sugar. Half an apple fritter.

Last night DH brought me half an apple fritter I saved for breakfast, from Horseshoe Donut shop. We split one. So sweet of him!

Coffee. Just a cup of really strong, hot, black coffee. Okay, and coffee for dessert too.

Today was Blueberry Pancake day, with bacon, sausage, maple syrup & coffee.

Same thing I have every morning: two slices of buttered rye or whole grain toast, and coffee. Second breakfast, if I'm hungry a couple of hours later, is either oatmeal or plain yogurt, with blueberries and chopped walnuts.

A simple breakfast today - toast and peanut butter, an orange, coffee. I used crunchy peanut butter which I love and the Skippy brand has nice large crunchy bits.

Cup of coffee. Early lunch were two halves of leftover fruit juice smoothies. Can you tell I'm on a liquid/soft food diet? Nine days left!

I was craving a piece of coffee cake or a doughnut this morning but settled for a sesame bagel out of the freezer. Coffee and a tangerine rounded it out.

My breakfast/lunch was a honey & oats granola bar.

About three cups of coffee; I cannot eat early, so usually have it around lll10:30 or 11:00 and today it became lunch of a bowl of soup and a couple of slices of whole wheat toast.

Brunch: most of a bag of pre-packaged sweet apple slaw mix, with an added hard boiled egg.

Got up not too long ago, am having cream of wheat. I don't eat it often but last time I went shopping it sounded good.

I mentioned to my husband the other day that I was hungry for bagel and lox breakfast and he brought all of the ingredients home yesterday, yay! I love a good bagel with "the works".

A cup of tea (no coffee) and scrambled eggs made with parsley from my yard and some Monterey Jack cheese, plus toast made from whole wheat bread that I made a couple of days ago.

I got the idea to make scrambled eggs with parsley from a Lebanese woman in Phoenix who had made her living room/dining room into a make-shift restaurant. She had no menu, however.

Today : Just a bowl of cereal (Honey Bunches of Oats) whole milk with a sliced banana, coffee.

Tea and oatmeal. Usually with yogurt and fruit. Today with a pile of microgreens, lemon juice and soy sauce.

Today's breakfast was pretty uneventful - All-Bran cereal, milk, yogurt, orange, coffee.

Lars, good idea to use parsley in scrambled eggs. I rooted and potted a herb that is getting weedy from being indoors in insufficient light. I'm not sure what it is, perhaps a type of oregano or marjoram. I will pinch off the weedy tops and chop them for scrambled eggs. I absolutely love this herb and plan to take a sprig to a garden center so they can identify it. It reminds me of a perfume and is just on the edge of my consciousness as to which perfume it is.

it is now Saturday ... and I have a hankering for pancakes and coffee.
