Sunday Breakfast...
Comments (14)Made with fresh challah, right out of the bakery oven this morning. Still warm when he brought it home. Copied and pasted your recipe, Jessy! Looks great! I still have cardamom left from the dirt balls. Maybe I should pass this recipe on to our mutual friend, I know she has cardamom :) Tricia, I just posted to your thread, it sounds so good for my family (except the crab, I am allergic, but my family LOVES asparagus!) We had similar breakfast yesterday to Momj47 and Woodie, eggs, sausage and toast, and coffee. At the diner. I love diner breakfasts, and it was nice, just Larry and I! and about ten other neighbors we ran into, LOL! San, can't do early breakfasts here, too, we have breakfasts really late on the weekend! No morning people here. yes, yes was a post on the Nueske's I remember. Haven't seen it here either. Nancy, Eggs Benedict sounds so good! Haven't made that in ages! LOL, Terri, I love your lunch :) we eat leftover for breakfast all the time. Cold chinese! Teresa, I never had chipped beef. How do you make that?...See MoreBreakfast Time on Saturday!
Comments (18)Too early for breakfast here.......I am only on my second cup of coffee! Give me a couple of hours :-) I am kinda off traditional breakfast foods this week - just bored with them I guess. I made a wild blackberry cobbler yesterday that is sounding appealing (it was darn good still warm last night!) or leftover sausage and mushroom flatbread...........Whatever, it will be fast and easy....See MoreBreakfast Today?
Comments (31)I had what our local breakfast place called "stuffed hash browns" - a concoction of scrambled eggs with bacon bits and sausage encased in hash browns with green onions and with a sausage gravy. Other than confirming that I don't care at all for sausage gravy, it wasn't too bad but not something I'd order again. And way too much food.....also was not wonderful reheated :-( Since my grocery shopping trip yesterday restocked my larder, I can fix whatever I like today. Probably just some very crisp bacon with sourdough toast to make a bacon sarnie. One of my breakfast favorites!!...See MoreBreakfast Today
Comments (15)Hope your daughter has as good a result with her knee replacement as I had with mine. I was 67 when I had mine 6 years ago. My leg was bent and bowed and I was dependent on pain pills. I didn't expect the doctor to be able to straighten it, but he did. I quit the pain pills and never looked back. I didn't have breakfast. I went out early to fill bird feeders and feed the squirrels. Fed horses, worked on my rose cuttings....and just came in. Trying to decide what I want. Will probably cook something substantial because I think Jody is going to go do some work on the shrimp boat. I just haven't figured out what yet. I would like some chicken and dressing...I usually cook something I am hungry for. Jody says he doesn't care what I cook.....so.......See More
